Project Overview:
The Wollongong City Council engaged our experienced team for a prestigious project: the revitalisation of the iconic Wollongong Harbour waterfront. This tourist-loved spot required a skilled touch to not only refresh its appearance, but also ensure longevity against the harsh coastal elements.
Challenges:
The waterfront, exposed to saltwater and high foot traffic, had seen wear and tear over the years. The existing paint on the railings was peeling and rust had begun to set in, diminishing the site’s welcoming appeal.
Process:
Our approach involved meticulous preparation, starting with sanding down the existing railings and removing all signs of rust and damage. We used high-grade, marine-quality paint to withstand the saline environment, ensuring durability and a fresh, vibrant aesthetic.
Outcome:
The transformation was profound. The once worn-out waterfront now boasts a pristine, white railing that gleams against the backdrop of Wollongong’s scenic harbour. Our commitment to quality materials and thorough techniques has restored the waterfront to its former glory, much to the delight of locals and tourists alike.
