Project Overview:
“We Can Do It Handyman Services” was tasked with creating a custom, stylish wooden console table that would add both function and elegance to our client’s home. The goal was to design and build a 2-drawer console table that not only matched the customer’s specifications but also showcased our versatility and skill in woodworking.
Construction Process:
- Material Selection: The project began with the selection of high-quality wood, ensuring durability and a fine finish for the console table.
- Initial Cut and Assembly: Our handymen carefully cut the selected timber to size, as seen in the first image, where the foundational pieces are neatly organised in the back of our work truck, ready for the next phase.
- Framework and Drawer Construction: The second image captures the framework coming together. The shelves and drawer outlines are assembled, providing a glimpse into the form and structure of the console table.
- Drawer Detailing and Benchtop Fitting: The third image showcases the progress with detailed drawer construction and the fitting of the benchtop, where precision is key for a seamless finish.
- Finishing Touches and Staining: The final image reveals the console table in its near-completion stage, with the addition of a rich stain that accentuates the wood grain and the table’s elegant lines.
Outcome:
The result was a beautifully handcrafted 2-drawer console table that stood as a testament to the craftsmanship of “We Can Do It Handyman Services”. Our team successfully delivered a piece that was both aesthetically pleasing and functional, tailored to the client’s personal taste and the home’s interior design.
